Syracusev Half Marathon (13.1 miles), will took place Sunday morning, March 20, 2022. As a Masters athletes I celebrated the first day of spring with a Half Marathon. I entered in the Championships my first travel race and joined the Elite Runners for a 7:53 AM start.
I really had to dwell on mental fortitude and resilience key to enduring this hilly, cold, windy elements of this 13.1 race. I was so tuned into striving for more it was challenging to celebrate where I’m at. Today is how I get better at it.
