She was not familiar with Viral Nation but shared that this was the perfect time for me to reach out because she is currently working on building out her social media campaigns and strategies for fall. She will extend the meeting invitation to her Director and her Public Relations colleague who handles most of the influencer marketing. -Roll APP is what she oversees and the target audience is small business and entrepreneurs mainly for taxes and payroll
-She needs to expand and find a way to differentiate from other apps that are similar so they can own this space
-Google Ad and Apple Ads currently being paid
-Success will include downloaded app, purchases, activity
-Looking to add influencers but finding it difficult to determine where and which platforms; some leadership is on board with this idea and others are not
-Approval process can be a lot – but Michael spoke well to how VN deals with sending over approvals
-300k per quarter minimum shared and includes multiple offerings – Prospect shared that was closer to what their annual budget is for influencer only – paid social is a separate budget that cannot be pulled from at around 200k annually
-She asked for QuickBooks case study and Michael agreed with 2nd meeting t
CURRENT CHALLENGES:
-Alignment in finding influencers; cannot include ADP user
-FTC compliance in using influencers
-Vetting process – current process includes a background check by the brand team that is incredibly manual and they are very picky on any content – the check takes nearly 6 months
-Many of the influencers have been difficult to work with wanting more of a co-branding type content

What was good about the meeting?
Michael was able to beautifully articulate how we can help with the pain she is finding in finding and vetting influencers within HR, campaign set up and KPIs, and how VN handles even the negotiations with influencers with strong expertise and buying power. Her budgets are segregated right now and he was able to set up the second meeting to include Vanessa, the organic content manager.
